Seven values, defined by what they require.

A value that cannot be acted on is decoration. Each of these is written as a standard of behaviour rather than an aspiration.

Stewardship: We treat capital, relationships, communities and the environment as responsibilities entrusted to us.
Integrity: We do not exchange ethical standards for revenue, access or short-term advantage.
Enterprise: We act with initiative, commercial courage and personal ownership.
Excellence: We measure outcomes, learn quickly and continually improve execution.
Respect: We value people, customers, partners and diverse perspectives.
Accountability: Decisions have owners, deadlines and measurable consequences.
Legacy: We favour decisions that strengthen the institution beyond current leadership.

Integrity is the only value on this list that cannot be traded against the others.
